I Jean Davis, PhD, DC, PA, MSCR, FAIHM

Dr I Jean Davis has decades of experience as a community advocate, educator, clinician, and researcher.

Her extensive education includes a BA in Psychobiology, a BS in Human Biology, a MS in Clinical Research, a Doctoral degree in Chiropractic Medicine and a PhD in Preventative Medicine.

Dr Davis is an Associated Professor, Internal Medicine at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science, Clinician at Dusk 2 Dawn Urgent Care and the AHIM Fellowship Curriculum Advisor.

She is the Past Medical Director and HIV Clinician at AIDS Health Care Foundation, Clinical Director, HIV Specialist at Desert AIDS Project and HIV Specialist and Trans Health Provider at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. Dr Davis is Past PI and/or Director of the National Black Leadership Initiative on Cancer, AIDS Education Training Center, National Minority AIDS Education Training Center, Center for Advancement of Allied Health, Targeted Provider Demonstration Grant, and many more academic grants.

Dr Davis completed Fellowships at Academy of Integrated Health and Medicine (AIHM) in Integrated Health and Medicine, Johns Hopkins in Epidemiology, DOD in Breast Cancer and NHLBIC in Cardiovascular Disease.

She is the AHIM Black Indigenous People of Color Co-Chair and the 1st American of African Ancestry AIHM Board Member and a Beyond AIDS Board Member.

Dr Davis serves on multiple academic and community committees with the center of interest and activities on health promotion and disease prevention.

As a Whole Health Provider, her focus is on disorders and diseases which disproportionately impact marginalized communities. She is therefore presently pursuing a Doctor of Whole Health Leadership (DWHL).
